Capturing the endangered species of South Africa as well as other
countries of the world in conservation photography is the core mission
behind the professional photography of Martin Harvey. Martin Harvey
is recognised worldwide for his conservation photography of endangered
species, having his wildlife and landscape photos being published

the world, including publications such as National Geographic Traveller,
National Geographic World, Travel Africa Magazine, BBC Wildlife,
GEO, Natural History, International Wildlife, etc.
Initially working as a field ranger for the National Parks in Zimbabwe
and Natal Parks Board in South Africa, Martin Harvey's passion and
concern for wildlife and the natural landscapes of the world eventually
caused a shift in his career after 12 years to becoming a professional
travel and wildlife photographer. As mentioned, Martin Harvey has
a great concern for the wildlife of the world and as a consequence
the core focus of his photography is conservation of wildlife and
nature by creating records of these in the form of spectacular and
unforgettable photos.
Martin Harvey's concern for the conservation of the endangered
species and natural landscapes of the world is furthermore reflected
through his generous donations of an immense amount of wildlife
and landscape photos to conservation organisations such as the Endangered
Wildlife Trust, WWF, and IUCN.
Martin Harvey is well-recognised by these worldwide organisations
for not only his creative photographic abilities to capture the
true essence of wildlife in natural landscapes, but more for his
giving character, and as such is continuously being commissioned

the The World Wide Fund for Nature.
